TAILGATE GUARD Large size - approx. 55cms wide (G1774L)

Our ‘GUARDSMAN’  Tailgate Guard is an easy fit panel that is designed so you will have greater control over when your dog exits the car.

This part can be made to fit either the right hand side, as shown, or the left hand side of the Boot Divider which will sited either at the one third position or the two third position.

Please specify whether you require right hand side, left hand side in the order details.

You will need both the ‘GUARDSMAN’ Dog Guard and Boot Divider to be installed already (available separately) – then the Tailgate Guard can be fitted. The ability to move the Divider from side to side in 50mm increments and the Tailgate Guard to be raised or lowered gives numerous fitting positions. The Tailgate Guard is 55cms wide and 55cms high and acts a great deterrent for pups and dogs trying to exit the car as the vehicle tailgate is being raised or lowered.

The Tailgate Guard secures through the mesh of the Divider it also has the flexibility to be secured in three positions…

1. Fully Open – to allow the dog to exit and ensure there is no movement if parked on an incline
2. Closed – to keep the dog in the boot
3. Fully Closed – flat to the divider to give full use of the load space when the dog isn’t in the car
