KIA SPORTAGE (QL) (2016-2022) TAILGATE GUARD

Our ‘GUARDSMAN’ KIA Sportage Tailgate Guard is an easy fit panel that is designed so you will have greater control over when your dog exits the car. You will need both the Dog Guard and Boot Divider to be installed already – then the Tailgate Guard can be fitted on the right hand side of the car as shown. The ability to move the Divider from side to side in 50mm increments and the Tailgate Guard to be raised or lowered gives numerous fitting positions. The Tailgate Guard acts a great deterrent for pups and dogs, more boisterous animals may need additional restraints.

The Tailgate Guard secures through the mesh of the Divider it also has the flexibility to be secured in three positions…

1. Fully Open – to allow the dog to exit and ensure there is no movement if parked on an incline
2. Closed – to keep the dog in the boot
3. Fully Closed – flush to the divider to give full use of the load space when the dog isn’t in the car
